Guided by a vision of a just, caring,and sustainable world, our mission is to save lives, alleviate poverty, and empower communities in line withthe core humanitarian principles of humanity, impartiality, neutrality, and independence.Position OverviewThe Field Monitor will support day-to-day field-level implementation, monitoring, and verification of allproject activities involving widow-led households, orphaned children, livelihood groups, and peer groups.The role ensures accountability, accurate data collection, and timely reporting in line with Human AppealSomalia’s standardsMain Responsibilities Conduct routine field monitoring visits to beneficiary households, livelihood groups, and peereducation sessions. Support verification of beneficiary selection and ensure criteria are correctly applied. Monitor IGA activities, group savings, loan cycles, and utilization of revolving funds. Collect baseline, midline and end line data as guided by the M&E Coordinator. Attend and observe group meetings, saving sessions, and training activities. Verify school attendance of orphaned children through school visits and registers. Document project progress using monitoring tools, photos, attendance sheets, and reports. Support the functioning of the beneficiary feedback and complaints mechanism. Report protection concerns or irregularities immediately to the supervisor. Assist in mobilizing communities for assessments, trainings, and other project events
